Our Story: A Mission of Service to the AA Community
At AAmazingtabs, our story is rooted in the very principles we share—service, experience, and hope. Our founder's personal journey in recovery revealed a common challenge: navigating the AA Big Book and 12x12 could be overwhelming. We saw people struggling with heavily marked-up books that became difficult to read, or fumbling to find the right passage during crucial moments with a sponsee.
This led to a simple, yet powerful idea: to create a tool that not only simplified the process but also honored the integrity of the text. Inspired by a deep desire to be of service, we developed a system of laminated Big Book tabs and color-coded highlights. This approach transforms the core texts of Alcoholics Anonymous into an easy-to-use guide, allowing you to focus on the message, not the navigation.
A Tool Born from Experience
We've been there—working the Steps, sponsoring others, and learning from the wisdom within these books. Our journey has given us a high confidence level in the power of the Big Book and the 12x12.
